The municipality Wieselburg is very pleased that 2011 the ATIBOX IPO World Championship takes place in Wieselburg. Large organizational efforts were necessary to be able to host this international event with participants from nearly 20 nations. I would like to thank all the people that contribute to the success of the World Championship in our hospitable city.
It is not a cliché when people say that dogs are the best friends of human beings. Loyality, intelligence, dedication and passion are characteristics that ensure that the connection between humans and animals is growing steadily. Dogs can make us laughing after “a bad day” and are always ready for a soothing hug.
It is also proved that dogs are able to influence the health of their owners in a positive way. Primarily we must certainly mention the long walks in the fresh air.
But the media also show us with reports of numerous incidents that the relationship between human and dog can reverse. To avoid this, the training of dogs is essential and at the World Championship in Wieselburg the German Boxers will show us that it is also a cliché when it is said these dogs cannot be well socialized and safe and well educated.
As mayor of the municipality Wieselburg I welcome all participants and their dogs. I wish you all successful competitions. For the organizers, I wish the best weather, lots of spectators and the smooth running of this major event.
